When I decided to bring my new found passion to life, making custom knitted names and knitted animal signs, I wanted to make the designs fun and a little different. The first answer to that was Pom Poms!
Mini Pom Poms added to names or words above an i or j, to me, there is nothing more adorable. If your keen to see how I make these mini Pom Poms, check out my tutorial below. Something so small and simple can make all the difference.
The next idea was to do a mini heart above the i or j's...bit of a throw back to when I was 12 and couldn't help but add a tiny love heart to my words!

Continuing on the heart theme, the next idea was to add a heart to the end of a knitted name or knitted word. Not only because it looks cute but it gives height to the end of the word and makes hanging from hooks really easy.
Lasty, I wanted to give an option that was super easy to hang, literally one hook or nail on the wall or door and your good to go! The answer to that was a crochet chain hanger with natural coloured wooden beads.
